Tomorrowland 2026 raises the bar for festival gastronomy as Gault&Millau crowns the year's best festival dishes

From Michelin-starred dining and authentic Thai street food to wellness-inspired mocktails and iconic Belgian treats, Tomorrowland 2026 once again proves that exceptional food is an essential part of the festival experience.

Tomorrowland welcomed more than 400,000 People of Tomorrow from over 200 countries across two magical weekends, offering not only world-class music but also one of the most diverse culinary experiences found at any festival worldwide. With more than 110 food stands and 340 different dishes, the festival's food programme invited guests on a global culinary journey, bringing together renowned chefs, local craftsmanship, authentic street food, premium dining experiences and innovative concepts spread throughout Tomorrowland and DreamVille.

Gault&Millau returns for a 12th consecutive year

For the twelfth consecutive year, inspectors from Gault&Millau visited Tomorrowland to independently review the festival's culinary offering throughout both weekends. After tasting dishes across the festival grounds, the inspectors selected the standout concepts in five categories, recognising the exceptional quality and creativity that continues to redefine festival food.

Gault&Millau Festival Food Awards 2026

Best Festival Food
Red Curry Croquette – River Kwai (Papillon)

Inspired by Tomorrowland's expansion to Thailand, River Kwai created authentic Thai croquettes exclusively for Papillon. The winning Red Curry Croquette impressed the inspectors with its refined balance, authentic flavours, delicate crust and perfectly judged level of spice.

Best Vegan Dish
Korean Fried Oyster Mushrooms – Ponyhof / Wussler

Served at Gourmet Veggies in Papillon Garden, this creative vegan interpretation of Korean fried chicken combined crispy oyster mushrooms, gochujang glaze, pickled vegetables and vegan yoghurt, delivering one of the festival's biggest culinary surprises.

Best Sweet Dish
Tomorrowland Waffle with Chocolate Topping – Tomorrowland Kitchen

After winning last year, Tomorrowland's signature butterfly-shaped waffle successfully defended its title. Freshly baked with a crisp exterior, soft centre and warm chocolate butterfly decoration, it once again became the festival's most celebrated sweet creation.

Best Burger or Bun
Latin America Hot Dog – PAN

Among the festival's impressive selection of burgers and sandwiches, PAN's Latin American Hot Dog stood out thanks to its perfectly grilled juicy pork sausage, fresh onion, coriander, pickled cabbage, chipotle mayonnaise and chimichurri. Combined with consistently warm service, it became one of the inspectors' favourites throughout both weekends.

Best DreamVille Experience
Onigiri Spicy Tuna & Sesame Chicken – Onigo

Making its DreamVille debut, Onigo impressed with freshly prepared Japanese rice balls wrapped in nori seaweed, offering the perfect grab-and-go breakfast or snack. The Spicy Tuna and Sesame Chicken varieties received the highest praise.

A culinary journey beyond the music

Tomorrowland's food offering continues to evolve well beyond traditional festival cuisine. Festivalgoers could discover Michelin-level dining experiences, authentic international street food, oyster tastings, premium wines, specialty coffee, healthy breakfast concepts and Belgian classics, while new alcohol-free experiences reflected the festival's growing focus on wellbeing. No visit to Tomorrowland would be complete without tasting the festival's own signature creations, including the butterfly-shaped Tomorrowland Waffle, and Solo Vida, Tomorrowland's sparkling wine developed together with Spanish winery Vallformosa.

The taste of Tomorrowland, all year round

While Tomorrowland only returns to Boom once a year, part of its culinary experience can be enjoyed throughout the seasons. Located in the heart of De Schorre, Brasserie De Schorre remains open year-round, serving Belgian classics alongside a selection of dishes inspired by Tomorrowland. Guests can enjoy favourites such as the signature Vo-LOVE-nt, a playful Tomorrowland twist on one of Belgium's most beloved comfort foods, keeping the flavours of Tomorrowland alive long after the festival has ended.
